AmazonSmile Foundation gives back 0.5% of the purchase price of eligible items to the CP Band Booster! Every purchase adds up – especially around the holidays! It’s super easy, here’s what to do:

Many of us shop regularly at Kroger, so this is another easy opportunity to help raise funds for our band. Register your Kroger card online or in store for a percentage to be given to our band/guard! Just use your card when purchasing and the band gets a check – easy money!(You must register your card every year).
Our organization ID is CX770
Band families are the best at showing their support, and one big way of doing so is through purchasing our “band swag”! The bulk of our items are purchased during ordering day, but, throughout the year, we may periodically add some items, so keep an eye out for updates through our communication channels!
Support the Band & Guard while celebrating friends and family! This fundraiser for our program is ongoing throughout the year.
10% of all purchases referred by the CPC Band are donated back to the Band!
This is a wonderful local company we have partnered with. Be sure to mention the band when placing your order.
Every year we organize professional group and individual pictures, in full band uniform, taken by a local professional photographer. These can be viewed and purchased online. Capture these precious years, while supporting band!
Band runs concessions at several events throughout the year including Twirl in the Woods and UIL Solo & ensemble.
These are one-day events where donations will be requested and parents can sign up to volunteer. (On occasion, minimal Fair Share hours may be offered in exchange for volunteering).
Student volunteers will be appointed by the directors and they will earn community service hours. There will be more information provided closer to the event but when the request for sign-ups goes out, the spots fill up fast!
More information regarding donations and volunteering opportunities will be provided closer to each event.
Thank you to our 2020 partners
Kona Ice usually makes a weekly appearance after practice during summer band camp & throughout the marching season. Support the program and treat your hardworking student to a refreshing Kona Ice after band practice in the Texas heat!
Throughout the season we partner with local retailers who kindly 'give back' a portion of every purchase to our band.
We also arrange spirit nights at local eateries - support Band while taking the night off cooking!
Our Season Tickets board member coordinates reservations of College Park Football Season Tickets for all home games in the Center Section of the Woodforest Stadium, right next to the band! Not only do season ticket holders benefit from comfortable, prime seating, they're supporting the band program too!
Band Olympics is normally held on a Saturday afternoon/evening in the middle of summer band camp. Band Olympics is a fun and friendly competition between band sections where they build friendships and teamwork through a Gatorade tribute to the directors, fun games, and an air band competition! Typically, each section designs their own t-shirt for the event. - Incoming freshmen, this is a great opportunity to get to know your section better!
The goal is to raise funds for the official College Park Activity Fund. Donations and entries to this event are tax deductible. (This fund is not associated with the CPC Band Boosters or Fair Share. It goes towards daily band class incurred expenses and game travel).
Students are encouraged to join in and enjoy the laughter, build teamwork, make new friends, and raise money for band through our annual Band Olympics Fundraiser! Winning Section enjoys the privileges of loading their instruments on the bus and getting in line for food first before games - A tremendous value! Parents - come and watch the fun!
Usually held alongside a Parent Performance following a grueling summer band camp, this is the first opportunity of the year to get know other band families in a more relaxing setting. Enjoy the performance and support the band by buying a BBQ ticket for each member of the family!
What is the Bandtober fundraiser?
The easiest fundraiser you’ll ever do!
How does it work?
Find a sponsor for every day of the month. The sponsor will donate in the amount of the number date. For example: If I want to sponsor the 3rd of the month, I would donate $3 to the student. If I want to sponsor the student on the 3rd AND the 4th, I would donate $7 to the student. EASY!
What month are we getting sponsors for?
BANDTOBER of course!
How should I find sponsors?
Call family members. Ask your neighbors. Find your non- band friends and ask for a few dollars. Have your parents post on their social media. Post on your social media (with parent approval). Fill in every date for the month!
What if someone wants to sponsor me for the whole month? How much is that?
A sponsor for the entire month is $496.
How do I turn my sponsorship money in?
Please collect money (cash, checks, venmo) from your sponsors. Then turn in ONE check made out to CPC Band Boosters.
How long do I have to collect sponsorships?
The fundraiser lasts the entire month of September with all money due on September 30th.
Can donations go towards my Fair Share?
YES! The FIRST month completed goes to the general fundraising account. If you want to find sponsors for a SECOND month, that money will be counted for your Fair Share! Just make two copies of the calendar and indicate that you want every dollar after the first $496 to go to your Fair Share!
What if I am not able to find sponsors for every day?
Turn in what you have, every dollar is helpful.
Is this tax deductible?
Yes. Please tell sponsors that every donation is tax deductible as a donation to a 501c3 non-profit organization.
Why should I participate?
This is YOUR program and every cent made benefits YOU.
